And at the same time conveniently monitoring her cervical health - at home.The Ovulona, our first product, will evolve into a telemetric cervical ring, the Halo, for automatic effortless monitoring without daily insertion.We already have FDA clearance (510k) for fertility monitoring to aid conception and to provide menstrual cycle data to physicians, useful for patient profiling and as an additional vital sign (reaffirmed: ACOG 2009, NIH DHSS 2014) to manage menstrual problems from teen years to peri-menopause.Used in pregnancy, the Ovulona and/or the Halo will improve management of birthing and prematurity.All the commercially available ovulation test kits and some of the monitors require monthly replacement of reagents- too expensive for contraceptive use.
