• New Century Careers was established as a non-profit organization in 1999. Since then New Century Careers has strived to grow the skills of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Manufacturing workforce. Our President, Paul Anselmo, leads the New Century Careers team in collaborating with local manufacturers, four local Workforce Investment Boards in nine counties, state agencies such as CareerLink and many supportive organization to shed light on the opportunities that manufacturing provides for the people of our communities.We are a Southwestern Pennsylvania workforce development organization with a dual client mission to support pre-employment and incumbent manufacturing workers as well as their current or future employers to help each set of clients advance economically through continuous workforce education and training.Local manufacturers understand the difficulty in finding motivated, trainable employees. The need for a highly skilled workforce has formed the foundation of our organization. New Century Careers seeks to improve the lives of individuals through the development of skills that lead to good quality family wage jobs and careers.A critical component of the New Century Careers Formula is strong relationships with regional manufacturers. New Century Careers has partnered with more than 160 such employers . As a partner company, manufacturers have the opportunity to speak with a collective voice about the importance of training and workforce development in our region, and help to shape the workforce of tomorrow.
