• KT Recycling is a scrap steel recycling company dedicated to environmentally-friendly partnerships with local business communities. We have been in business since 2001, and are a family-operated business with decades of experience.We are located in Tampa, and primarily serve the Florida scrap metal market. Our primary markets are Tampa, Orlando, Ocala, Gainesville, and Fort Myers, but we will provide competitive price quotes - and fast service - to anywhere in the region.KT Recycling provides removal services with a dedicated truck fleet, and by leveraging our specially modified machinery and streamlined processes, we are able to provide highly competitive prices to our suppliers.We realize that as an industrial company, we have a responsibility to help manage environmental challenges, and have spent a significant amount of time restructuring our business to reduce our environmental footprint. As a result of our reliance on mobile equipment (as opposed to stationary machinery), we are able to reduce emissions, and to accept materials that traditionally would be more likely to be sent to a landfill. KT Recycling believes in making long term commitments to our suppliers and serviced communities, and while we take our operational, environmental, and safety goals very seriously, we also believe in continuing our tradition of treating employees as an extended family.
