• LilySarahGrace is a teacher-led nonprofit organization, dedicated to helping all children learn, that supports educators in implementing the arts through professional development and grants for underfunded public elementary schools. We bring the Arts & Creativity back into classrooms through a method of teaching called Arts-Infused Inquiry-Based Learning (AIIBL) that is dynamic, highly engaging and most importantly inclusive to all learners. LSG offers two distinct funding opportunities to teachers in underfunded public elementary schools nationwide. Our grants challenge and empower teachers to deliver best-practice instruction via arts-infused inquiry based learning and transform classrooms into child centered learning environments that meet the needs of every student. The LSG PD team provides professional development, specifically tailored to fit the needs of our participants. We work directly with school leaders and teachers in planning and implementing AIIBL through custom-designed coaching and modeling in classrooms, co-planning with teams, half-day and full-day seminars, as well as multi-day institutes. Our staff meets teachers where they are and helps to guide them through AIIBL planning and practice through hands-on arts-integrated learning experiences. Teachers completing this PD will be armed with arts-integrated activities which can be implemented in all subject areas immediately upon return to the classroom, helping to build the road to long-term unit implementation.
