• The Childrens Chorus of San Antonio (CCSA) provides educational and performance opportunities in choral music to the children of the greater San Antonio area and surrounding communities. CCSA was established in 1983 and currently serves over 400 engaged, talented and dedicated young artists ages birth 18 in three divisions. CCSA nurtures the artistic and personal potential of its participants through a comprehensive curriculum of performance and instruction; students are given the opportunity to develop the confidence, poise, maturity, self-esteem, and discipline necessary for success in music and success in life.CCSAs divisions include:Core Ensembles six training and performance ensembles for boys and girls ages 7-18 provide a rigorous curriculum of performance-based instruction ranging from the basics of vocal technique through an extensive and diverse repertoireMusic Together® nine classes for infants, toddlers, and young children through age 6 and their families encourage our childrens natural enthusiasm for music and movementProject: Sing! two tuition-free programs provide the opportunity for San Antonio, Edgewood and Harlandale ISD students to sing, learn, share and excel right in their own neighborhoodCCSA's advanced choirs regularly sing with the San Antonio Symphony and Mastersingers, have toured Scotland, Italy, Ireland, England, Canada and France and have been featured on NBC-TV's Today Show and NPR's Performance Today.
