- Vision Loss Resources provides services, skills and support to people with vision loss. We meet people in their homes, at our offices in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and at community locations throughout the metro area. Our services include: Low vision rehabilitation training in the home Life Skills Classes Support Groups Adjustment to Blindness Training in our Rehabilitation Center Peer Counseling Educational, cultural and recreational opportunities Informational presentations and trainings for professionals Support for family members and caregiversAssistance is available to people living in the St. Paul and Minneapolis metropolitan area, both in the safety and convenience of the home, as well as at community centers and at our offices in St. Paul and Minneapolis.All services are provided by dedicated professionals or trained volunteers.There is no time limit for services; no doctor's referral is required.Our agency is governed by a Board of Directors, under the coordination of President/CEO Kate Grathwol, Ph.D.Vision Loss Resources is a nonprofit 501c(3) agency.
