• Santa Barbara Dance Arts is amulti-arts center that includes a pre-professional dance academy, a vibrant 9,000 square foot performing arts center, and is a safe place artists to train, express, and build confidence through dance. The studio is second home to our students and we pride ourselves on a family-friendly environment. Dance Arts offers classes in Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Aerial, Broadway, Acro/Tricks, Combo, Tap, Disney Dance classes for tots, and a full spectrum of adult friendly classes. We welcome dancers ages 2-adult and offer classes for all levels and abilities. The professional faculty has performed on Broadway, Cirque du Soleil, and stages across the globe, while our alumni and student teachers bring a sense of community and tradition that is important at Dance Arts. Dance Arts is philanthropically and the unique partnership with the non-profit Arts Mentorship Program allows us to offer scholarships, affordable rehearsal space, and create opportunities for the community and the under-served. Destination Dance, our famed summer camp, offers flexibility and fun for your dancer and a unique opportunity to train intensively and improve performance and technique. Dance Arts is known for their star-studded master class series that highlights world-famous choreographers and artists seen on television, and film and the addition of a partnership with UCSB Arts and Lectures brings world-class companies to teach at the studio. A pre-professional youth Performance Company and Competition Team create opportunities for serious dancers to excel. Dance Arts is excited to celebrate 19 years of business and we are proud to be voted SBs BEST Dance Studio by Independent readers for over a decade.
