• uAspire is a national nonprofit whose mission is to ensure that all young people have the financial information and resources necessary to find an affordable path to and through a postsecondary education. Through strategic partnerships with high schools, community organizations, higher education institutions, and individual practitioners, uAspire delivers a continuum of college affordability programming spanning middle school through postsecondary completion that supports students and families where they are in the college process and helps them overcome the financial barriers to a postsecondary degree. Founded in Boston in 1985, uAspire has spent three decades establishing a proven track record in Massachusetts and is now implementing a multi-faceted strategic growth plan that will enable the organization to positively impact the lives of 1,000,000 students across the country by 2017. This year, we are delivering direct service to over 14,000 students in seven high-need cities across the country (Boston, Fall River, Lawrence, and Springfield, Massachusetts; Miami, Florida; Hayward, Oakland, and San Francisco, California) and will reach an additional 75,000 through our Training and Technical Assistance partners.
