• Prytania Veterinary Hospital was opened in 1992 by Drs. Brian Ghere and Nancy Nathan to promote regular preventative and state-of-the-art medical care to all of the canine and feline residents of the New Orleans area. Though we started out as a small clinic with two doctors and a staff of eight employees, we have since expanded our staff and have been lucky enough to add two more outstanding doctors to the PVH family: Dr. Rachelle Biondolillo has been with us since 2003 and Dr. Jennifer Foster joined us in 2012. We aim to treat both you and your pet with the utmost respect, compassion and kindness while minimizing any discomfort or anxiety that your pet may experience at the vet. Our staff prides itself on being highly trained and motivated. Members of our staff are required to continue their education by keeping up with new information, technology and skills necessary to provide the best possible pet care. We value our clients and our community, and our hospital works tirelessly to develop long-term relationships with our clients based on mutual trust and respect. We understand that you have a choice in veterinary hospitals, and we would like to encourage you to take a moment to call us today with any questions that you may have about our doctors or services. Although we do see walk-ins and emergencies, we encourage you to make an appointment for any non-urgent issues including annual visits and vaccinations and non-emergency health concerns. It is our pleasure to care for all aspects of your pets health and well-being.
