Girl Scouts Of Minnesota & Wisconsin Lakes & Pines

Description

• Theres greatness in every girl. Girl Scouts helps her find it.For over 100 years weve helped girls develop the skills and confidence they need to blossom into their best selves. From our earliest badges in electricity, aeronautics, and natural sciences to todays all-girl robotics teams and cookie entrepreneurs, girls have challenged themselves through our skill-building opportunities, worked with inspiring role models, and developed lifelong friendships.Girl Scouts dont just watch the world go by. They take action. Plant flowers. Collect clothes for the needy. Fix a broken sidewalk. Whatever it takes to make your neighborhood better. Every year, in virtually every zip code, our 2.3 million girls provide over 75 million hours of direct service to their communities. The results are extraordinary: our 59 million alumnae are more successful in school, earn higher incomes, have healthier relationships, and report greater satisfaction with life than their nonGirl Scout peers. We're in our second century. Through engineering initiatives. Science partnerships. Entrepreneurship. Financial literacy. Digital storytelling. And healthy living. Were preparing the next generation of girls for their futures, ensuring that they not only have doors open to them, but also possess the confidence to walk through those doors.Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines serves 39 counties in northern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
