- Angel Gowns of WNY, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, is dedicated to creating beautiful final-photo and burial gowns, handcrafted by volunteers, from generously donated wedding and special occasion dresses, to offer comfort to grieving families in NICUs during their time of loss. All Angel Gowns are donated to Neonatal Intensive Care Units within hospitals to offer the bereaved parents this gift, made with love, for their childs final burial. A small gesture to properly honor their child is all were hoping to provide. As one bride stated when she donated the gown she wore at her wedding over 40 years ago, she is happy that her wedding gown is now going to have a new life with the tiniest of Angels. If you would like to donate your wedding gown or special occasion dress, or if you would like to become a volunteer to sew the gowns, please email us at AngelGownsofWNY@gmail.com. We will reply with shipping information. In order to be appropriate, we can only accept white, off white, ivory, cream, champagne or pastel colors.
