Deskins Water

Description

• Deskins Water is a provider of alternative water and wastewater treatment solutions for customers in the agricultural, industrial, and municipal sectors. Areas of specialization include pretreatment, dewatering, backwash water and resource recovery. Our flagship product lines include: Pretreatment: Deskins RapidFloc Mixer leverages a unique flocculation method to precondition biosolids, sludge, and other semi-liquid waste at the beginning of the treatment process, resulting in 20-40% polymer savings and qualified performance gains for liquid-solid separation, dewatering, and more effective options for production of Class A biosolids downstream. Dewatering: Quick-Dry Filter Beds deliver mechanical dewatering performance in a fraction of the space required for older concrete or slow sand drying beds by creating a natural vacuum that actively drains sludge and other wastewater products (rather than simply drying them). This hyper-efficient design eliminates the need for costly mechanical equipment and power load, results in 98.5% drying, and captures 100% of the liquid and solid byproducts of dewatering for immediate recovery and reuse. When compared to typical mechanical dewatering processes, Deskins Filter Beds offer up to a 95% reduction in electricity costs, a 60-80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, and a 50%+ reduction in O&M over ten years. Deskins customers benefit from substantial cost savings in both capital expenditure and expense requirements, a reduction in the carbon footprint of their operations, and performance gains that allow them to increase capacity while reducing their overall footprint of their plant. Through collaboration with our team, wastewater treatment operators expedite their ability to meet environmental compliance and sustainability goals, realize consistent gains in their public relations due to reduced emissions and odors, and generate proportional quality of life incentives for the communities they serve.
