    Description

    • To advance the frontier of student space exploration at UC Berkeley through deep-space satellite fabrication and design, and high altitude mission testing. There are limited aerospace orientated groups on campus, but the ones that do exist only focus on small-scale competitions that do not attempt to go to space. We plan to be the first group at Berkeley to put/launch a student-designed payload into space. Additional goals include: collaboration with the Space Sciences Laboratory and various researchers here at Berkeley, holding a first university space hackathon, and attempting to be the first student-based university group to launch a rocket into space.
