Advertising Women Of New York

Description

• We have been invested in womens achievement since we were first organized as Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) more than 100 years ago. We recently changed our name to She Runs It because as the industry has evolved over the years weve grown to be more than advertising and more than New York. Even more than women. Were proud of everyone, including the many men, who join us.When we started, we wanted to give more women a seat at the table. Now, we want to see more women at the head of the table. The reason is simple. Women are proven leaders. Women motivate. Innovate.Today, women run companies. Communities. Countries. They are growth-oriented leaders, and focus on steady, sustainable growth. Women are good for business. Companies with more women as leaders are also more financially successful. More socially responsible. And thats good for everyone. Which is why we bring together both women and men who want to build the world we want to live in. A world where women lead at every level.· Where she runs businesses.· She runs departments.· She runs accounts.· She runs projects.· She runs her career.· She runs her life.· She runs it.We have chapters in New York and Chicago, with more expansion plans in 2017. To learn more, participate one of our many initiatives or simply join the women and men who share our vision at sherunsit.org.
