• Autism Involves Me strives to link those connected by a common cause through events. We believe in the power of connecting parents and caregivers in a way that is both fun and informational. For us, there is nothing more gratifying than watching kids be kids while parents interact with each other and share experiences and knowledge. We are in this fight together Autism Involves Me, Autism Involves Us, Autism Involves You. In addition to monthly events / social gatherings, we provide AIM grants annually for assistance of a variety of needs. Simply put, our ability to give back to the community by way of Autism Involves Me grants is predicated on the support provided from the community. In addition to donations and grants, the primary fundraisers each year are the Autism Involves Me walk and Autism Involves Me 5K. Autism Involves Me recognizes the importance of making a difference behind the scenes as well. An important part of our mission is ensuring we connect with those who impact the autism community. State and Federal laws impact the autism community greatly. Maintaining a relationship with legislatures is an important responsibility to keep the autism community informed when key legislation is up for debate. Autism Involves Me is an all-volunteer staff and Board of Directors. Those who serve are passionate about the cause of making a difference in the lives of those impacted with autism; many of whom have children with autism.
