• The San Antonio Economic Development Foundation (SAEDF) is a private, nonprofit organization that assists business and industry in locating and expanding into the San Antonio area. SAEDF is supported by its partners (City of San Antonio, Bexar County, CPS Energy, SAWS) and 160+ Board Members. SAEDF is governed by an Executive Committee, represented by the business and corporate leadership of San Antonio. Since 1975, SAEDF has assisted over 450 companies with their location and/or expansion plans, creating more than 110,000 jobs for San Antonians. Specifically in the last six years, SAEDF has located 100 companies and brought over 23,000 jobs, creating a total economic impact of more than $8.7 billion.SAEDF is leading San Antonios Strategic Plan for Economic Development, a collaborative plan to evolve and improve San Antonios economic development delivery system. The plan focuses on 5 key areas of economic development: 1) Business Attraction, 2) Business Retention and Expansion, 3) Entrepreneurial Development, 4) Workforce, and 5) Collaboration.
