- YCore is a social impact fellowship for young professionals. We equip Fellows with the experience, knowledge and networks to invest and impact their local communities. Over a four-month period, Fellows commit 3-5 hours per week to a capacity-building project with a local nonprofit; receive training in design thinking and fundraising; learn from industry leaders; and build a community of likeminded people. Fellows grow professionally, gain rare, hands-on experience impacting their community; and make authentic connections. YCore was founded in 2014 by a group of Stanford alumni who believed in the power of young professionals to add value to the social sectornow, not later. As of December 2016, we've reached nearly 60 Fellows and 9 nonprofit partners, and have committed over 2,000 hours to local nonprofits.
