• Our MissionThe Knox County ARC is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing programs and services for people with mental disabilities in Knox County; to safeguard their rights and protect their welfare; and to help each individual achieve the highest possible level of personal growth and independence. The Arc Knox County was founded in 1953.Sunshine Services is owned and operated by the Knox County ARC, a private, non-profit corporation governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. Sunshine Services consists of a number of programs for individuals with disabilities.
