    • Brightspec provides analytical chemistry solutions using FT-MRR spectroscopy, a new commercial technique for direct, non-destructive analysis of complex gas/volatiles mixtures. The company's customer focused science team gets deep into intractable problems to develop methods and instruments for both bench top investigative analysis, and targeted process monitoring. BrightSpec Science:FT-MRR stands for Fourier transform molecular rotational resonance. FT-MRR fingerprints are absolutely specific to molecular structure. Isomers, isotopologues (site-specific), and even enantiomers are all distinctly quantified without the need for chromatography. Chemometrics are not involved in analysis because, even in complex mixtures, FT-MRR spectral signatures are highly resolved. BrightSpec innovation is anchored in decades of institutional research which has traditionally used MRR spectroscopy for gas phase molecular structure analysis of weakly bound, transient species. It has also been the primary tool in astrochemistry for composition analysis of molecular clouds in space. The patented Fourier transform technique is what enables the speed and simplicity for more broad analytical chemistry applications.
