Threadloom

Description

• Today, the Internet is dominated by the highest bidder and the loudest voice. As a result, it's getting harder to identify the best content. Clickbait, trolling, and fake news are becoming more prevalent, leaving users drowning in a sea of irrelevant information. But there is one exception to this trend: online forums. Forums are the one place on the Internet where first-hand experience is still more important than an ad bid or SEO. Which is why we're returning to where the WorldWideWeb first started 25 years ago. Forums are the world's largest source of free, unbiased, and expert information. They enable users who share a common passion to exchange helpful information and learn from each other. However, searching for anything on a forum has long been a frustrating experience. Our goal with Threadloom is to modernize the search experience and make each forum's best content easy to find. We're passionate about solving meaningful problems, and we believe that opening channels to information that is accurate, honest, and safe is vitally important. The solution to fake news isn't just filtering it out - it's finding information that is credible and thoughtful. Our hope is that by promoting the growth of helpful communities, we will deepen the level of knowledge and awareness on the Internet.
