• Anbaric is a project development company located near Boston, MA that specializes in early stage development of large-scale electric transmission systems and microgrid projects. As a developer, Anbaric invests in projects that will have long lifespans: electric transmission and distribution assets foremost among them. As a steward of investors capital, Anbaric is interested in growing our portfolio of assets that provide steady, reliable returns for decades to come. Anbaric does not seek energy commodity exposure; the company seeks to develop and own interests in assets and companies that are platforms for the efficient trade of energy. Anbaric projects integrate markets between states, regions, or nations; alleviate congestion on the bulk power grid; and deliver renewable energy to population centers. Anbaric projects expand and improve electricity markets and increase the reliability and flexibility of the grid. Anbaric has helped develop two 660 MW High-Voltage Direct Current transmission projects in New York over the last decade and is currently developing three large transmission projects as well as a series of Microgrids. Anbaric has partnered with National Grid to form the Green Line Infrastructure Alliance; developing the Vermont Green Line (400MW), and the Maine Green Line (up to 1200 MW) projects. Anbaric and Exelon have joined to form a new initiative that will establish large-scale microgrids ranging from 10 to 200 MW at strategic locations throughout New York. Anbaric is also developing the Poseidon Project, a 500 MW HVDC connection from central New Jersey to Long Island.
