• Northern Arizona Orthopaedics (NAO) is an independent, multi- specialty, multi-physician practice. The main care clinic is located inside the Summit Center, also home to the NAH Orthopedic Surgery Center, and DeRosa Physical Therapy. NAO surgeons have privileges at Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC), a regional Level-1 Trauma Center adjacent to the Summit Center. NAO also partners under a co-management agreement with other local orthopaedists to provide surgical services for a regional spine and joint program with the hospital. NAO surgeons provide trauma call at the hospital, as well. The clinic care model utilizes Advanced Practice Providers (APP), mostly Physician Assistants (PA) and some Nurse Practitioners (NP) too.
