- Since 1979, Dental Benefit Management, Inc. (DBMI) d.b.a BeneCare Dental Plans has been providing dental benefit program administration to a wide array of clients. DBMI operates point-of-enrollment PPO, point-of-service PPO, Dental Plan Organization (DPO) and indemnity dental benefit programs for fully insured and self-insured sponsors in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. Available plan offerings vary by state.DBMI provides administrative services to a variety of sponsor groups including self-funded commercial employers; Taft-Hartley Welfare Funds; municipal, county and State government employee dental programs; private label programs for medical insurers dental services in the commercial and Medicare spaces; and dentist owned independent practice association programs. DBMI also administers Medicaid dental benefit programs for States and Managed Care Organizations.DBMI provides a wide array of administrative services including benefit and claim management; enrollment maintenance; actuarial support services; customer service; dental provider network development, credentialing and maintenance; and utilization management.
