• Ocean Ridge Biosciences (ORB) is a South Florida-based contract research laboratory supporting pharmaceutical and drug discovery companies worldwide with biomarker discovery services. Our mission is to accelerate drug discovery and development through the provision of competitively-priced efficient and reliable genomic rich datasets. ORBs current service line includes RNA and methylation NGS sequencing, microarray-based gene and microRNA expression profiling, RT-qPCR, multiplex immunoassays, and bioinformatics.We are headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, near the geographic center of a rapidly developing South Florida Life Science Cluster and have served hundreds of academic and corporate researchers on basic research, preclinical and retrospective clinical trials. ORB' major industry partners include Microarrays Inc., the leader in probe deposition-based microarray technology, and Toxikon, a well-respected pre-clinical CRO with operations in the U.S. and Europe.Research & DevelopmentORB staff have coauthored studies appearing in the journals PNAS and Nature with scientists at The Scripps Research Institute in Jupiter Florida. ORB has also engaged in research collaborations with several academic institutes focused on biomarker discovery in disease areas such as neurodegeneration, cardiovascular disease, and emphysema. Our partners on these projects have included research groups at Emory University, Roosevelt Hospital in New York, and the University of Miami. Currently, ORB is pursuing biomarkers relevant to PD-1 immunotherapies with potential research and diagnostic applications for advanced melanoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma.
