Offset your footprint and become a member of the We Are Neutral movement.-DescriptionWe believe that locally generated carbon offsets do the most good!Our carbon offsets are created by planting trees on local conservation lands and performing energy efficient upgrades in local low-income housing free of charge to the families who live there.By creating our carbon offsets in this way we hope to build a stronger community where those have help those who don't and those who can help those who can't.For those who have, we encourage local residents and businesses to offset their carbon footprints by donating to our organization to help create more local offsets. For those who can, we offer volunteer opportunities to plant trees and perform energy efficient upgrades right here in Gainesville!-General InformationWe Are Neutral is an initiative of Earth Givers, Inc. Earth Givers is a 501(c)3 non-profit that has been working in the Gainesville community since 2007 to create a model of carbon offsetting that can benefit local communities everywhere. We work with the University of Florida, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Cinema Verde Film Festival, and many other local organizations and community members to reach our goal of a carbon neutral future.
