- The Marsh is a comprehensive wellness and fitness facility, open to the public and offering memberships, situated on the edge of a scenic, protected wetland in Minnetonka, a west suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Established in 1985 by Ruth Stricker, a pioneer in Mind-Body work, The Marsh is founded on a philosophy to inspire, challenge, educate and support a healthy attitude toward life with individual guidance and professional care. Our comprehensive center and personalized services include:- full service Spa with traditional massage and complementary Eastern therapies (acupuncture, Shiatsu, etc.)- fitness and nutrition programming- rehabilitation and reconditioning - personal training with highly experienced exercise specialists- group fitness classes in exercise studios and pools- warm water therapy pool- weight management programs- physicians lecture series- Restaurant: counter service and table service in the Moon Terrace- unique meeting and special event spaces- on site catering- upscale retail Shop- overnight guest rooms for retreats and get-aways
