- L.A.C.E.S. is a dynamic team that is committed to being a voice for children around the world. We believe children are the key to positively changing local communities and nations. L.A.C.E.S. establishes Christ-centered, mentor-driven sports leagues in Liberia, West Africa. We believe that sports is more than a game, and can heal relationships, communities, and nations. In seven years we have mentored over 700 vulnerable children and former child soldiers, and trained 120 coaches on how to rise-up positive role models through the avenue of sports.In 2014 two film makers documented the work of L.A.C.E.S. The film The Power of Play will allow you to see how a once war- torn country is being transformed through the power of sports.
