• The OnePatient-Global Health Initiative (OnePatient) mission is to provide primary health care in underserved populations without discrimination. Using a community outreach effort through schools, social service agencies, places of worship, homeless shelters and the media, we intend to provide access to those most in need.In doing so, we hope to improve health outcomes by removing barriers to access, and implementing healthcare services by way of outreach, education, treatment, referral, and resources One Patient At A Time.The founder of the project is Dr. Daniel Ivankovich, a fellowship-trained orthopedic traumasurgeon and spine specialist in Chicago. Ivankovich, who has already established orthopedic outreach and patient education programs at virtually all of Chicago's safety-net hospitals, will lead the OnePatient team.The very harsh reality is that a massive population still lives in dire need of quality health care. The central principle driving OnePatient is we can only address a cure by building a footprint that includes everyone in need. A group of community leaders has signed onto this mission to give the un- and under-insured of Chicago, US & The World access to quality health care.
