- The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center is now the second largest community health center in Massachusetts, serving nearly 60,000 patients at eight clinical sites in Lawrence and Methuen. Prior to GLFHC's establishment in 1980, those living in the region had few health care alternatives. Consequently, Lawrence lagged behind the rest of Massachusetts on virtually all health status indicators.The mission of the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center is to improve and maintain the health of individuals and families in the Merrimack Valley by providing a network of high quality, comprehensive health care and services and by training health care professionals who can respond to the needs of a culturally diverse population.Considering a career change?
