• WHO WE ARE 4B is a collective of researchers, designers and engineers. We improve womens lives through design. We help companies and organizations consider gender while developing compelling and functional solutions to complex design and innovation problems. WHY WE CARE By the end of this decade there will be close to 4 billion women in the world not an insignificant number. Women make up half the worlds population, account for the worlds largest economy, and represent the worlds largest financial opportunity. Yet, women are so often misunderstood. A significant mismatch exists only 15% of the design and innovation industry is female. At the same time, women purchase 85% of all consumer goods and services. Opportunities are everywhere. Understanding women is crucial for effective innovation in both developed and developing countries. Design can establish stronger personal connections to products, services, brands and systems. WHAT WE DO Workshops In custom tailored workshops we lead your team though the problems and issues women face in your category, helping identify the best strategies you can adopt to make your female customers happy. Opportunity audit We identify your opportunities to win with women. We examine the various touch points you have with your customers, identifying those that may be helping or hurting your relationship with females. Design strategy Our team will craft a concrete plan, along with visual guides, to direct your offerings so that current and future projects meet the needs and desires of women. We help direct internal innovation teams and build organizational momentum with a vision, a strategic framework and a business case. Design We conduct design projects, or collaborate with your design team and external consultants to bring to market a design vision & strategy. We creatively direct a range of programs, including product and service development, digital experience, and brand experience.
