- Our company started operations in the city of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico in 1971 as West Electric Corporation, establishing as one of Puerto Rico's top electrical contractors firm. In 1999, a related corporation contracted with us the remodeling of various low income housing projects for an aggregate cost of $4MM. This event sparked off the evolution of West Electric Corporation into West Corporation, a general contracting enterprise. Since then, West Conrporation has developed into a general contracting firm, expanding its scope of operations throughout the entire island, having successfully executed and completed a long range of construction projects offering high quality projects, competent management and effective financial results to our clients.We are our clients best ally, exceeding their expectations in the construction field, taking on challenges with flexibility, innovation, accessibility and commitment.
