• Gender Diversity is a non-profit organization that supports the exploration and expression of all gender experiences, and helps community and professionals safely enhance their gender competency. We have three programs: Parent Support Services, Professional Training & Consultation, and the Gender Odyssey conferences.**Parent Support Services: Gender Diversity runs support groups for parents of transgender children. Every Sunday parents gather, based on their children's ages: Under 10, tween, and teen to adult. While the kids play or talk together, the parents are provided private, facilitated space to offer peer-to-peer group support. **Professional Training & Consultation: Gender Diversity provides consultation services and training to school districts, faculty, clinics, PTAs, students, businesses, governments, and to parents. **Gender Odyssey: The Gender Odyssey Conferences are over 14-years-old and draw attendees from around the world. Based in Seattle, and recently expanded to Los Angeles, trans people of all ages come together with their allies and the professionals who serve them for a week in August to explore the meaning and realities of being gender diverse.
