Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz Llc

Description

• Leveraging individual strengths, knowledge and courtroom tactics, Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC formed in 2001 when two of the biggest law firms in Pittsburgh eliminated their matrimonial law departments. David S. Pollock, head of Reed Smiths matrimonial group, envisioned a powerhouse family law firm and sought the best divorce and domestic relations lawyers to join him including fellow founding partners Todd M. Begg, Candice L. Komar and Daniel H. Glasser. Expanding its name to Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC in 2012 with the addition of named partner Brian C. Vertz and adding a sixth partner, Joseph R. Williams, in 2015, Pollock Begg is now the largest firm dedicated solely to family law in western Pennsylvania. The firm is renown as an industry leader, a top-tier law firm as ranked by Lexis-Nexis, Martindale-Hubbell, and US News and World Report, and is a champion for attorney pro bono work, volunteerism and community involvement. Pollock Begg is empathetic to clients needs and unrelenting in the defense thereof. As leaders within the legal education community, we are abreast of shifts within our industry; we continually expand the quality and range of our already comprehensive family law services to best counsel and assist our clients. From tense custody cases to complex high net worth divorces, Pollock Begg has earned a reputation for tactfully settling cases outside of court to protect the family structure when possible and aggressively litigating cases to desired resolution within the court system when necessary. We help guide our industry through the changing landscape of the legal field by speaking in seminars, educating young lawyers, and writing and editing publications. Based in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pollock Begg typically serves clients in western Pennsylvania in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, and the neighboring towns and counties.
