- STS Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting understanding, respect, and goodwill among the people of all nations. Since its founding in 1986, it has placed hundreds of foreign high school exchange students from over forty countries in American high schools with American host families who act as these students' hosts for an academic year or semester in the US. STS Foundation is headquartered in Concord, MA, with Regional Directors and Local Coordinators operating throughout the US to support host families, students, and schools. Recognized as a leading organization in the student exchange industry, STS Foundation strictly adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Council of Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET) and the regulations for exchange visitors established by the United States Department of State.
