- Abukloi is building an educational and vocational training facility in Rumbek, South Sudan that will provide essential skills and training for regional Southern Sudanese. This facility will also serve as a community center for Rumbek, providing a central place to come together and work at rebuilding their country and their lives. Our team of dedicated teachers instruct over 100 students in 9th and 10th grade. In our first year, 82% of our students passed the national exam--an impressive achievement. Through partnerships with schools in Virginia, we are working to create an agricultural program to provide food security, farming skills and income to the school. We are also working to create a public health program at Abukloi school to train students how to teach the community about basic health practices.
