• We are a speech-language pathology private practice based in North Central New Jersey Services are provided in our office and at clients' homes, schools, & offices Our Areas of Specialization: selective mutism, social communication/pragmatic disorder, social skills, cognitive & executive dysfunction, aphasia, AAC, apraxia, professional communication enhancement/professional presentation coaching Our Specialized Intervention Approaches: PROMPT, Social Thinking, social skills groups, individual and group therapy, telepractice Other Professional Services informational programs, in service presentations, lunch-and-learn talks, speech and hearing screenings, professional continuing education lecture We offer a client-centered approach to disorders of communication, feeding and swallowing for individuals from infancy to geriatrics. Our belief is that the most effective approach is one tailored to the specific, functional, day-to-day needs of each individual while keeping their maximum independent potential in mind. Each client and therapist should have a clear understanding of the goals for treatment. Speech-Language Pathology is a dynamic process that requires a relationship between therapist and client. Our therapists strive to provide an environment of caring, acceptance, trust and encouragement to our clients, thier families and caregivers. Our speech-language pathologists use a variety of approaches to assist clients in reaching their goals. These include traditional articulation techniques (eg, Van Riper, phonetic placement, multi-sensory stimulation), PROMPT, phonological disorders (eg, Cycles, Minimal Pairs), language disorders (eg, scaffolding, structured play) social communication (eg, Social Thinking; cognitive behavioral techniques), social skills groups, and augmentative and alternative communication devices.
