• Florida State University Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative established in 1954 to serve the unique financial needs of the FSU Community, including students, alumni, boosters, faculty/staff and their families. Membership was expanded in 2011 to include individuals who live or work in Leon, Wakulla, or Gadsden County. Florida State University Credit Union provides checking and savings accounts, loans and other financial services to its members. We offer competitive products and since we are a not-for-profit, any profits are returned to members in the form of lower fees, higher dividends, and improved services. Credit unions are democratically owned and controlled institutions based on people helping people principles. Florida State University Credit Union is both owned and controlled by its members, with each member having an equal vote and the opportunity to serve on the board of directors. As of July 2011, Florida State University Credit Union has 5 locations in the Tallahassee area with the 6th being built. In addition, we have over 4,300 shared service locations nationwide and thousands of surcharge free ATM locations.
