- 2MC is a boutique investment shop with a finely tuned focus on everything that happens in the world of REITS. Over the last 25 years, REITs have significantly outperformed the S&P 500. We believe that REIT tax and structural advantages, enhanced by our active management and market presence, create a sustaining opportunity for outsized return on investment. In December 1998, just as the Dot-com bubble was inflating, and REITs were tanking, 2MC funded New Realty Shares, LP.(NRS); this finite life, hedge fund was designed to capitalize on displaced valuations as non-traded real estate issues came to the NYSE. Since that time, 2MC has capitalized nine, finite life, REIT focused hedge funds; 6 remain active. We currently have no new issues nor offerings open to subscription. In 2003, deploying all of the low-cost, online trading technology we now take for granted, 2MC launched our Portfolio Asset Management (PAM) services. PAM is a flexible investment planning tool that enables 2MC to create and manage investment portfolios tailor made to meet an individual investors goals. Through PAM we attempt to create a growing stream of dividend income and, through careful security selection and trading, a prospect for capital appreciation. Our PAM services attempt, in the long run, to outperform both the S&P 500, and the RMS (our REIT Benchmark), but, more importantly, we aim to meet and exceed investor goals. Since 1992, 2MC has worked extensively with the Independent Broker/Dealer network and its representatives. In 2012 we formatted a Sub-Advisory Portfolio Curation service that would enable independent advisors the ability to emulate a Corsaires Fund portfolio structure and resultant returns. 2CHYP is 2MC Corsaires High Yield Portfolio and is a live portfolio launched on 07/01/2016. We offer 2CHYP as a lower cost alternative to 2nd Market Capitals higher fees.
