The company nearly doubled their sales in 2009, up to $7.5 million from $4 million in 2008.The idea for a marshmallow shooter originated in Dallas, Texas when Kim and Beaver Raymond and their son Jake were preparing for Jakes 9th birthday party. As a party favor, Jake and Beaver spent half the night assembling marshmallow blowers for each of the 15 guests from PVC pipe. Kim came up with the idea for marshmallows to be used as safe, soft, edible ammo.Safety is extremely important. The lung-powered blower is designed so that a child cant inhale a marshmallow from either end. The shooters wont blast anything that cant compress and then regain its shape, like a rock, stick or stale marshmallow, only something soft like a marshmallow. Seen on Hannah Montana, Good Morning America, Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres Show, dozens of news programs.
