• Castlewood Treatment Centers helps people with eating disorders transform to living healthier lives. Established in 2000 as the first residential treatment facility in Missouri, our licensed health care team is nationally recognized and has decades of combined experience in providing compassionate, professional and successful treatment for more than 1,000 men and women with eating disorders and related conditions. We offer individualized, supportive and comprehensive care in a home-like residential setting to help people towards recovery and healthy futures. We provide a full continuum of care including: Residential, Day Treatment or Step Down, Transitional Living and Intensive Outpatient. In addition to facilities in St. Louis, Castlewood has affiliate facilities in Monterey, Calif. and Birmingham, Ala. Each facility is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and The Joint Commission. At Castlewood, we address underlying symptoms leading to a deeper and more lasting recovery. Each of these underlying disorders requires a different form of specialized treatment, and we offer a team of experts who have subspecialties in each of these areas. Most importantly, we have dietitians who listen to clients and work with their unique metabolic requirements. Once a client has attained control of symptoms, they typically step-down to 1 of 3 lower levels of care, to work on specific fears related to interacting with the complexity of modern living.
