Hebrew Academy (Rasg)

Description

• The Rabbi Alexander S. Gross Hebrew Academy offers a comprehensive, holistic program of education from preschool through 12th Grade that incorporates the finest in general and Judaic teaching practices. In 1947, our first classes in two rooms appeared modest, but our vision was grand: to create a school that would combine Hebrew, Judaic and college preparatory programs, and prepare students for success. We have built a proven record of developing our students into thoughtful, well-rounded, well-informed, and proud American Jews who are prepared to lead rich and full lives in the Jewish community, America, and the world. The vision of the Hebrew Academy is to inspire and equip students to achieve their greatest potential academically and spiritually by focusing on individual attributes and instilling eternal Torah values in a changing world. We place equal emphasis on excellence in both American college preparatory curriculum and traditional Judaic religious instruction. Children receive a well-rounded education to prepare them for their own individual paths in life - whether that means a secular or religious career, the Ivy League or a community college, a yeshiva or a seminary.
