• Operation Aware is an award-winning non-profit organization that equips youth, through prevention education, with the knowledge and skills to make positive life choices. Founded in 1979, the program currently serves around 10,000 students every year across NE Oklahoma. The goal of our classes is to provide drug, violence, and risk prevention education to children and teens in the classroom from pre-kindergarten through high school. We share a strong, clear message with young people that their choices today about drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and relationships can have lifelong consequences for their health, safety and wellbeing. We show students techniques that help them resist negative peer pressure and make positive decisions that move them toward their goals and dreams and away from high risk behaviors.Our results are powerful; young people who are equipped with the necessary skills needed to be strong, confidant leaders of tomorrow.Is Operation Aware in your child's school?
