Paws Chicago

Description

• ABOUT PAWS CHICAGOPAWS Chicago is dedicated to building No Kill communitiesstarting with a No Kill Chicago where all healthy and treatable pets are saved. Since our founding in 1997, the number of homeless dogs and cats killed annually in Chicago has dropped 77 percent. But with nearly 10,000 homeless pets still dying in our city each year, there is more important work to be done. PAWS perform more than 18,000 free and low-cost spay/neuter surgeries to decrease the number of animals that end up in shelters and in danger of being euthanized. PAWS also finds new loving families for nearly 6,000 homeless animals each year through our two adoption centers as well as numerous off-site events.CHARITY NAVIGATORCharity Navigator, the nations largest independent evaluator, has consistently given PAWS Chicago its highest four-star rating, placing the organization in the top 1 percent of charities in the nation.HOW YOU CAN HELP· Adopt - Meet our animals in need of loving homes: pawschicago.org/adopt· Volunteer - Donate your time to saving lives: pawchicago.org/volunteer· Foster - Open your home to an animal in need: pawschicago.org/foster· Spay/neuter - PAWS offers subsidized spay/neuter program: pawschicago.org/spayneuter· Attend - Mingle with animal-lovers while raising funds for homeless pets: pawschicago.org/events· Donate - Help an animal in need today: pawschicago.org/donate· Connect - Learn more about how you can save lives: pawschicago.org and facebook.com/pawschicago
