- For 50 years, Opportunities, Inc. has provided services to children and adults who have disabilities and the elderly. It began with five children in space donated by First Presbyterian Church. Since 1966, Opportunities has made a difference in the lives of over 30,000 people in Southwest Arkansas and Northeast Texas. Opportunities provides day programs, therapies, nutritious meals, transportation, work and living skills training, nursing, and residential services to children and adults with special needs.The mission of Opportunities, Inc. is to provide developmental and support services which assist individuals in attaining a full life in the community.Vision Statement is to be the premier provider, advocate and leader in creating a community which recognizes the value and abilities of all.Value Statement - In fulfilling our mission, we are guided by: a commitment to excellence, respect and compassion, integrity and accountability
