• The ABCOV® process is an EPA approved, non-thermal, simple chemical-physical process that destroys all forms of asbestos and asbestos containing material (ACM) within 2 hours or less, leaving a 50% ± volume-reduced, non-asbestos, inert-sand material that can be recycled or sent to an ordinary-sanitary landfill. On site asbestos destruction: Eliminates asbestos liability immediately, stops asbestos trucking through neighborhoods, reduces waste volume by 50%, and insures no further asbestos cradle to grave liability and asbestos environmental health issues. On site asbestos destruction: can be provided by ABCOV®, by your own ABCOV® trained asbestos abatement crew, or by the abatement contractors crew trained in the ABCOV® method. ABCOV® equipment is built modular and transportable or fixed base with multiple options and design flexibility in size and process throughput.Hazardous-Mixed ACM Destruction:1. Heavy Metals (RECRA) in ACM: can be tied up to pass Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP); reduces volume 50% ±, leaving a waste that can be sent to a non-regulated landfill. 2. Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) in ACM: 50% ± volume reduction. 3. Radioactive-ACM: 50% ± volume reduction and removal of radioactive metals from the converted ACM by more than 99%. ABCOV® will eliminate asbestos future cradle to grave liability and will provide good sustainability environmental and financial risk management to your customer.
