- RBI Austin, an affiliate of Major League Baseballs RevivingBaseball in Inner Cities program, is a nonprofit organization inAustin, TX providing baseball and softball leagues, clinics, andyear-round mentoring to underserved youth and communities.Founded in 2011, RBI Austin is a mentoring program that leveragesbaseball and softball to address the fatherless crisis in East Austin.Starting with 118 kids in 2011, RBI Austin now serves 853 kids agesfour to eighteen with planned growth to over 1,000 kids in 2017.Over the years, the mission has remained the same: to engageand develop inner-city Austin youth athletically, academically, and spiritually, empowering them to lead the transformation of their communities.RBI Austin is part of The For the City Network, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Tax ID 80-0329998).
