Mccombie Group, Llc

Description

• McCombie Group is a collection of influential families actively seeking to invest long-term capital into established family and founder-owned operating businesses, where we have experience and can build enduring value. More than just writing a check, we leverage our collective knowledge and influence- the same proven capabilities that contributed to the enduring success of our own family enterprises. Our families have a wide assortment of business interests spanning various sectors, asset classes, and geographies and collectively command a net worth in excess of $10 billion. We focus on quality over quantity and strive to source opportunities aligned with our experience and competencies.Excellent businesses are not built overnight. Our investment philosophy is predicated upon patiently creating sustainable value rather than quick, speculative profits. Although we have deep operational experience, it is not our intent to manage the companies we invest in. We aspire to be collaborative partners; playing an active Board role and providing management with supplemental resources in such areas as business strategy, financial planning, lender negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and recruiting. We are committed to managing our investments for continued growth while respecting the values, culture and independence that made the company successful in the first place. We do this through a comprehensive approach that includes capital expenditures to fuel organic growth, add-on acquisitions to build market share, and new strategies that address changes in the marketplace.
