Requipment Dme Reuse Program
Get Full AccessDescription
- REquipment is a durable medical equipment reuse program offering free, refurbished wheelchairs and other medical devices to adults, children and seniors with disabilities in Massachusetts. We clean and repair donations of gently used equipment and deliver safe equipment to residents in need in Greater Boston/Greater Worcester. Since launch in January 2014, we have redistributed more than 570 medical devices valued at over $1 million. Reusing valuable medical equipment just makes sense.A private/public collaborative, REquipment receives funding and in-kind supports from the Mass Rehabilitation Commission, MA Dept of Developmental Services, MA Dept of Public Health and The Boston Home. We received start-up grants from the Shapiro Family Foundation and The Boston Foundation. We are pleased to receive on-going support from Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. Thanks to enhanced state funding, REquipment will be expanding its network of reuse centers in 2016 to reach more MA residents in need. See our web page for more information about donating and receiving equipment at www.dmeREquipment.org or call 1-866-244-6156.Like us on FB: www.facebook.com/dmerequipment
