• The Outside Las Vegas Foundation, is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.The Vision of the Outside Las Vegas Foundation is a community that enjoys, values and protects Southern Nevadas special outdoor places. Our Mission is to connect people to Southern Nevadas special outdoor places.The Outside Las Vegas Foundation (OLVF) believes that natural areas and open space hold many essential and irreplaceable benefits, and that the environment comprises a vast interconnected network of various communities, of which we are a part. Thus, the health and success of our communities is a product of the health and success of our environments. As such, OLVF believes that healthy environments are critical components of healthy communities, and likewise, healthy communities enjoy, value, and protect their environment. OLVF is proud of the incredible resources available to residents and visitors to Southern Nevada, and all of our programs focus on creating connections to these places. Programs range from large-scale projects such as the Vegas Valley Rim Trail a trail that will literally and figuratively link our communities to smaller-scale efforts that bring groups of school children out to experience the Mojave first-hand and our nvoutdoorkids website that provides information to educators, children and their parents.
