• The University of Southern Maine (USM) is a multi-campus, public university. Our Portland campus is located in Maines largest city and economic hub; our Gorham campus, from its 125 tree-lined acres acre, provides a central view to the classic New England town where small businesses thrive; and our Lewiston campus is deeply connected to the growing, active city along the banks of the Androscoggin river.
